Altavady Farm spans 620ha on rolling hills, 20km inland from the Oamaru township in North Otago.
We rear and finish dairy-beef animals and provide grazing support for the dairy farms. We also utilise land for forestry and a small number of sheep units.
The farm has been extensively developed with new irrigation infrastructure and lanes to optimise farming efficiencies. Our water is supplied by Lower Waitaki Irrigation Company and North Otago Irrigation Company.
We work in a team with 2 permanent full time staff and 2 permanent part time staff.
